Sabrina and Evan just celebrated their two year anniversary on September 9th, and I had so much fun with them capturing these amazing moments in these gorgeous locations in Detroit! The day we took these photos was beautiful and the lighting was to die for! The dark and moody sky had such a unique look and it diffused the light to be soft and perfect!

A little back story for you all on these two! I have known Sabrina ever since she moved to Michigan from Canada our Sophomore year of high school when we were 15 years old. We hit it off right away in this poetry class we had together, and after bonding over talking about gymnastics and tumbling skills, I somehow convinced her to try out for the cheerleading team. She came to tryouts, made the team, and she has been one of my best friends ever since!

After graduating from high school, it was time to move on to the next adventure in our lives! Sabrina and a few of our close friends all decided to attend Grand Valley State University together! It was during this time that Sabrina met Evan. These two were totally and completely meant to be together from the very beginning! Even though there was a period of time they tried to deny it, we all knew deep down they were meant to be, and we were absolutely right! They have a love for each other that is so rare and raw, and I have loved watching it grow and develop over the years. Evan still looks at Sabrina the exact same way he did when he was smitten with “the girl next door” to his buddy’s place at Copper Beach Apartments in Allendale, MI. So, to these two awesome friends of mine, HAPPY TWO YEAR ANNIVERSARY and cheers to lifetime more of love and happiness (and renovating homes together! haha!)
