I met up with Claire and Mike for their engagement session on a brisk winter day in Downtown Detroit. As always, the city served as the perfect backdrop for their photos! Due to the fact that it was the holiday season, we were able to incorporate some of the city’s gorgeous holiday decor into their images which was so much fun!

We started the session at a couple of their favorite murals in Eastern Market, hit some alleyways and a rooftop, and finished the session at the venue they will be tying the knot this June, The Detroit Foundation Hotel.

These two are such a genuinely happy, laid back, and go with the flow couple, and I had the absolute best time with them running all over the city! They braved the cold and made it so easy to get these gorgeous shots and I seriously loved every second of it! To say that I am excited to document their intimate Detroit wedding this June is an understatement. I can’t wait to get back in the city and capture all the love as they say their “I Do’s!”
