I had the honor of photographing Nour and Ahmed’s stunning October wedding and it truly was the most breathtaking day. Their closest family and friends gathered to witness and celebrate their marriage, many tuning in virtually all the way from Egypt to watch their beautiful day unfold. It was so obvious the whole day how loved these two are! They are truly a beautiful couple both inside and out.
Everything about their day was perfection down to the very last detail. The dress, the bridal accessories, the florals, the cake, the reception details…I’m talking everything was absolutely perfect. Nour and Ahmed decided to schedule a two hour block at the Henry Ford House for their couple’s portraits. The focus of the majority of their portraits on their wedding day was around them, and it was truly magical. It allowed them to spend so much extra time together and we were able to capture so many romantic portraits for them to cherish forever.
It is hard to pick a favorite moment from their day, but when they were officially pronounced husband and wife, the excitement and emotion that flooded the room was just incredible. After their ceremony, the guests gathered into their breathtakingly beautiful reception room to welcome Nour, Ahmed, and their families in with a traditional Egyptian dance called a Zaffa. It was the most exciting way to begin their reception, and the rest of the night was just filled with smiles, laughter and endless dancing. It truly was the perfect celebration.
Nour and Ahmed, thank you for choosing me to be a part of this special day. I hope newlywed life is treating you well! I loved getting to know you both and it was such an honor to document such a wonderful celebration of love. Wishing you all the love and happiness the world has to offer!
